Terms of Engagement
What a proposal commits us to, and what it does not.
Scope is written down
Every engagement starts from a written scope. Work outside it is quoted separately before it begins, never invoiced afterwards as a surprise.
Estimates and fixed price
An estimate is our best reading of effort and it can move. A fixed price does not. The proposal says which of the two you are looking at, in plain words, on the first page.
Who owns the output
What we build for a client belongs to the client, including the source and the documentation. Our own pre-existing tooling stays ours and is licensed for use, which the contract states explicitly.
Dependencies
Most delays are access delays. Where a milestone depends on credentials, an environment or a decision from your side, the plan names it and the date moves with it.
Using this site
The material here describes our services. It is not a proposal and does not create an obligation on either side.
